Guest doublelung
I got my first robinhood after shooting all day with a very fatigued arm. After over 100 shots, 13 torn flethings and 3 arrow knocks I stuffed one in the other just curious how lucky this makes me. Or how dum since tomorrow I am going to the bow shop and spend some money. Tell me your story.
AdvantageTimberLou
First off congratulations. Second indeed it will cost you more money. I just got in about 1 hour ago from shooting 20 or so arrows. That is all I do and I pick different spots on my target. 100 in one session like you did is too many and I don't want arm fatigue like your having! Plus if your not careful could lead to poor shooting habits. Fun to shoot the bow that is for sure and all this shooting now just gets us ready for fall! Enjoy the trip to the pro shop, nothing like new archery gear! Go for arrows come back with everything but!
VermontHunter
CONGRATS, on the robinhood .. but too many of these , will cost you alot of the green stuff,,, once or twice is fun but after that it gets expensive... I've shot several robin hoods, but only the first is special ..
Jodyslilbro
I don't know VH it's pretty fun when you walk up to see one arrow is longer than the other. But your right it does start to cost a lot after a while
Swamphunter
I shot my first robinhood a couple of months ago, but I seldom shoot at the same spot.
BKE
Put the first one on the shelf as a trophy because it is a hoot. But after that one every time you start thinking about shooting nocks think about what it's gonna cost ya

RUTNSTRUT
What was your reason for shooting that much in one day? Did you just wake up and say today I am going to shoot until I get a robinhood. As others have said shooting that much in one day does more harm than good. But hey congrats on the robinhood, maybe next time it will only take 3 or 4 hours.
BowtechTurkeyHunter
I disagree I shoot over a hundred arrows a day a lot ... doesnt bother me a bit ... now if you are a part time shooter I would thing it is different Steve

buckee
Well, now that you got one, you can hang it on the wall, and start saving some money..EH Man, I hate replacing fletchings, nocks and ruining arrows. Been there, done that. I'll shoot 2 arrows at the same spot, but no more than that...too risky
Guest doublelung
Just like you said i was on a mission to get a robin hood I don't often shoot that much but at least 2-3 hours a day I am a daily shooter so bad habbits I have been through. I have always shot no more then 3 arrows at a target so my chances where slim. Oh the arrow is now on the wall. Ant of you boys live in my area I only have one solid buddy I hang out with who hunts
toddyboman
Congrats. Its cool but a real pain after the first one. My DB did this tonight. My uncle and cousin whom where shooting with me were really excited, I was upset cause I just ruined an arrow. I thought the nock separation was neat. Part is around the arrow the rest is still somewhat attached to the arrow it belongs to.
Guest Finn
I got my first and hopefully last one last year with my Switchback XT. At nearly $20 a RH, one is enough
