You were very lucky to get what you got because the hunting is tough there. There are only 6000 birds down compared to 100K+ from a few years back. Not to mention the foot of snow that was dropped. Our pit had 18" of snow on it and all you could see was about a dime size spot where the top of the full body decoys were sticking through the snow. That is deep! Spent one whole day shoveling snow from the set up just to get it down to where you can see the decoys. Hopefully since the snow is gone and I heard birds headed south last night this weekend might pick up! Good job on the hunt!

Yeah, the snow really made things tough. We hunted from just before sunrise until 3:00 pm every day except one. Our best luck came on the second day when we had 7-8 geese decoy in and we took 5 of them! Nice shooting guys! cool.gif

It was tough but we still managed to have fun! grin.gif
