Guest mikey73
Go with the plain 'ole Spitfires, man! I use the 100gr. and have never had a problem! Bite the bullett and get a pack of replacement blades, too. I shot 4 deer last year, and ALL 4 had 2 ribs cut by these broadheads! Not the same broadhad, mind you, but still... an expandable cutting through ribs! Also, they fly like a field point just like they advertise. The locks work VERY well, too! You won't be disappointed! Just curious Ken...Are those plastic bands nessessary and have to stay on when you shoot?
Guest gt2003
I wish I had the pics, but the Vortex broadheads shoot great. My local shop shot a bunch of broadheads straight into cement blocks at around 350 fps and the Vortex broadheads held up incredibly well. I've shot 2 deer and 2 hogs with them and had no losses. I used the 2" cut on the deer and the 1 1/2" cut on the hogs. Great penetration and great flight. Both endured the challenge and I continue to hunt with them. Good luck finding something that works for you. Greg
