wtnhunt
Welcome to the forums. Personally I am kind of partial to model 700's, but any of those rifles could be good for big game hunting in this country.
Jeramie
I would personally look at the Tikka or the Remington. I am very, very partial to Remington's. However, Tikka makes a NICE rifle. Given the line up the Weatherby would be history but id have to hold and shoulder the other two to see which fit better. Btw, welcome to the forums. Guest ronin
I like that Accumark but they are hogs. The ultra light weight version might be a better hunter. I am waiting to see the new TC Icon come out soon. It looks great and might be worth the wait?
Texan_Til_I_Die
What's the primary application? If you're going to wag it up and down mountains, I would opt for one of the short magnums to save weight.
snapper
Outta those 3 options...me personally I would go with the Weatherby Accumark in the .300 Weatherby. I like the Weatherby guns over Tikka or Rem. and I feel the .300 Weatherby is a superior cal. over the WSM's.
IASTClone
What's the primary application? If you're going to wag it up and down mountains, I would opt for one of the short magnums to save weight. Primarily for Whitetail and Mulie in NW Kansas, but will use for Elk some also in Colorado also.
iron buck
Looking for a 300? Personally I'd go with the 300 win mag. It is tried & true and readily available. As for what rifle, I would look at the used market. LOTS of guys buy these & then are to afraid of the noise and recoil to use them. They sit for a while and then are sold off at great deals. As for brand, any Ruger 77, Winchester 70 , Rem 700 or any number of others would work well for what you are after. And you can get a used rife for a FRACTION of what manufacturers are asking for new rifles today.
