cwillard
I am planning to switch to the Rage 2 Blades and was wanting to hear everyone's experiences with this product. Thanks for any replies.

huntdux
I saw a factory recall on these at Bass Pro in Springfield, MO, the other day. If you will look at the corners of the deployment cam that is exposed during flight you will know if they are any good. The factory said if the corners are rounded the blades will not deploy on contact, but if they are pointed that's what you want. I looked at all of Bass Pro's 2 blade's while in the package and they were all pointed, I'm sure they went through them, too. Three blade was sold out or they took them all off the shelf. bowin_in_illinois
The three blade was off the shelf because they were the ones the recall was on. The two blades were fine.
IowaDeerHunter
They are definetly great broadheads but from what I have seen and heared, they are easy to break (the blades). They are a little on the expensive side for a sometimes one time use broadhead, but after watching them being used on Drury's Dream Season 10, I would not mind trying them out. They leave some massive entry holes!
dfol20
I used them last year, but I can't be a good testament to their function. I did kill a deer with them, but I am sorry to say they weren't good shots. The first a little far back, the other was after I tracked the wounded deer down and it hit spine. Bad exprience. But I am going to use them again this year. I am not sure how to replace the blades thought. Does anyone know? It looks like a tiny hex wrench or something, I couldn't figure it out.
