HEY KS, Iowa, OK and eastern NE guys

I need some help if possible.

Myself and a couple of friends are looking for some places to rabbit hunt out your way. I guess a little get away hunt for 3-5 guys. I hunt in Nebraska every year for turkeys but really don't want to drive to Keya Paha county to rabbit hunt.

Any help on private or public land would be nice in these states. Our dogs are deer broke and any young dogs wear shock collars just in case.

Anyone willing to help would be surely invited to join us and we'll give you all the rabbits you want out of our harvest, gutten, clean and quartered. lol

Guaranteed to leave any place better than we found it. Two of us run clubs down here so we have no patience for those that disrespect other's property.

There's lots of really good public rabbit hunting here in OK. PM me, or just go here:

He hit that on the head. Not only is there a lot of public land through the wildlife department but we have a lot of Core land too. GRDA (Grand River Dam Authority) owns thousands of acres in NE Oklahoma. Its all public access and shotgun, bow only so it sees little traffic. Tons of cotton tails everywhere around here!

Yes its Corps land (Tulsa District). Its on Ft. Gibson Lake, Grand River, and Hudson Lake. Its flood land, totally accessible. Roads everywhere and fields ranging from grass lands, to briers, to Oak Groves. I have a link to the page that outlines the public access. Ill dig it up and post it later.

Its public access, no motor vehicles. The vast majority has a road directly leading up to it. Its all very easy to get to.

This is the Corps land but directly south of this starts a Wildlife management area too. Ive never hunted it but Ill bet dollars to donuts it has a lot of bunnies. Oklahoma has quite a bit of public access hunting.

I grew up here. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

I'd never seen these maps, they're great! Lot's of land I'll bet not many people know about.

Probably not so shhhhhhhh...... ;)

They are very handy. My family has a large ranch I grew up hunting. The hunting has went down hill from there. To many trespassers, neighbors that shoot anything, etc. Some of this public land I posted is only a few miles from my house (literally like 2) so Im thinking about bow hunting a lot of it this year. Im sure the pressure would be very minimal.
