Turkeygirl
Well just got home a little bit ago from Bass Pro in Auburn, NY. We spent 2.5 hours in there and I didn't even get into the fishing section or all the clothing:eek: I spent just over $100 on: A turkey mug ($8) B-day card for mom (like $2) B-day present for mom (this nightlight with a hummingbird on it for $15) X-mas present for Andy ($4) Redhead Cold Weather System Insulated hunting pants (on clearance for $53) A Mothwing headnet (on clearance for like $5) A Redhead camp fleece hat($9) A long sleeve black Team Realtree t-shirt for like $6.88 A lot of things I didn't get because I either forgot or didn't want to spend all my money, lol. Sure is a nice place and better deals than Gander Mountain. The two guys from camp I went with, the one who has been to Cabela's he said it is like 5 times that of Bass Pro...some day I'll see it:cool:

wildside
Sounds like you had fun and came away with some nice items! We're fortunate to have a Cabela's here in Michigan, and I tell people to go there if only to check out all of the animal mounts and the walk-through aquarium full of fish native to Michigan waters. Our kids (4 and 6) LOVE taking "field trips" the hour or so down the highway to go there. The two of them could lead you directly to the full elephant mount with their eyes closed. It is a pretty awesome spot, for sure. Plus, we always grab a bag of kettle corn on the way out. We all love that for the drive home!
