Guest ExtremeSoloDubV
Well I got a Cuddeback for Crhistmas and set it up MOnday with a 100lb bag of corn. Of course at this time of the year and no hunting pressure, the deer ate all of the corn. However there was only 7 images saved and 4 of them are me...lol My uncle looked at the camera and said I had it set to high. IM about 5'10 and it was at my chest. Today we moved it down to about knee- thigh height. If the camera is set too high, will it not take pictures? Just trying to find out what I am doin wrong. popgun
Re: Anyone with a deer cam.... HELP!!!! You will get good pictures now that you have lowered the camera. It probably was not picking up the motion with the camera that high unless you had it tilted a lot. We also had the Cuddeback and it was fantastic. We had really good pictures from Dec. until Feb. when some thief stole it. Make sure it is only about twenty feet from the feeder and you will love the pictures. Most of our activity was after dark. Try to remember the flash will attract thieves. The deer will not be effected by the flash. Good luck. .....popgun
dogdoc
Re: Anyone with a deer cam.... HELP!!!! i put my cameras about 3 feet high. does the cuddeback have a sensitivity dial? you might check that and make sure it is set correctly. I'm sure you just had the camera set too high. todd
Guest ExtremeSoloDubV
Re: Anyone with a deer cam.... HELP!!!! Yea it has a sensitivity dial. I have it set on motion. Thats really the only way to set it up. You can adjust it so that it takes pictures at a certain time of day but that is just for things like checking your food plots to see how they are growing every day, etc.

The section your talking about is the section were you setup motion or time laps.

wtnhunt
Re: Anyone with a deer cam.... HELP!!!! Have my stealth cam set at about 3 feet with a block wedged behind it to give a downward angle. I had my 3 year old walk around in front of the cam while setting it up. I knew that if it picked her up it would get a deer.
