Jeramie
Are these things springing up everywhere? Tulsa is starting to get them on every corner. They are relatively expensive up front but for the service they are worth the money. I ran my car through one during lunch to the tune of $7. For that your car gets pre scrubbed by two teens before you drive in. Undercarriage wash, the big roller brushes, rinse, tire cleaners, tire treatment (shine), spotfree, and a dry. Then the vacuums are free. I use to hate automatic washes, they never work worth a flip but this is definitely worth the money. I hate white cars (I own two, a car and a truck) because of the dirt and these things actually make them look like they've been washed by hand! Expensive? Yes, but so worth it. lil hunter
I've never seen/heard of one of those. Sounds cool. You say, it gets pre-scrubbed by two teens? Are these teens male or female? If they are female, I'm moving to wherever you live! The last time I washed my truck, I spent about 4 1/2 hours on washing/rinsing/waxing/whatever else i did on it, and by the time I stepped back to look at it, it was dirty already. Stinkin black vehicles!
unioncountyslayer
We have had several in NC called Auto Bell for probably 20 years now. Not as cheap as the one you mentioned however, so I do it the old fashion way, with my two hands.
Jeramie
The one I usually go to has one guy and one girl about 5'1". The one I went to today had two guys. But Ill bet you the cost of the wash that your truck would be clean by the end of it. They finally brought back the brushes and it makes a HUGE difference. Sadly, I probably spend more to wash it myself, than I would If I took it to a car wash.
okiedog
I hate white cars (I own two, a car and a truck) because of the dirt That kinda suprises me. The last 3 trucks I have owned have been solid white, because I think they dont show dust as bad as a dark color, say black or blue. I live 4 miles down a dirt road and about the only time mine gets clean is when it rains. So its been washed alot this year:D:D

I think the white shows the littlest speck of dirt.
Guest Finn
$7 is a pretty good deal for that! My wife and kids are tired of the tan/beige or silver cars and trucks. That's all I buy as they hardly show dirt.
OJR
White shows the dirt the least! My '07 Colorado is ruby and it shows every little speck of dirt there is. My Olds is silver and it better, but it still shows dirt! Black or dark charcoal are the worst colors you can get for showing dirt!
wtnhunt
Have a quarter mile long dusty gravel drive here. I have given up on keeping our vehicles clean like I once did. About the only time I run through a wash anymore is after the county salts the roads in the winter.
