......Before member hat & T-shirt orders are filled!!!

All shooters who meet a minimum of requirements as laid out below are welcomed......nay, encouraged, to the join the ranks of the serious, the envied and the most seriously envied shooters on the web. OTPG members are respected across the internet by all those who recognize firearm performance taken to the next level. ;) So join NOW!! Orders for OTPG Wear will be placed this very coming Friday, July 27, 2007.

Apply for membership by shooting me a PM with your calibers of qualification. It's that quick. It's that simple. :D

To qualify for OTPG membership is really quite simple:

1: You must be a registered member, in good standing, of the Realtree Forums.

2. You must own and shoot a centerfire, magnum rifle cartridge or cenerfire pistol cartridge (in a handgun) .429" or larger. (some exceptions without formal "magnum" designation will be considered i.e. Rigby, Nitro Express, etc)

3. You must have a dislike for hot cocoa.

4. All members must agree to semi-memorize and fully embrace the Gang Creed:

"If a gun can do it......a magnum can do it faster, flatter, harder and farther and better!! Bigger, faster, better, more!!

5. (The previously "Unwritten Rule") Before any member takes this whole thing too awfully serious, he must bear in mind that the OTPG/SCOPE rivalry is all good-natured and in fun. NOBODY is serious here.

All memberships are contingent on the ongoing review by the board of directors. Public displays of "hot cocoa" are strictly forbidden!!

P.S. Fear not ye loyal Off The Porchers!! :D This B&C rcord book bear was brought to you by Browning, Weatherby, Hodgdon's, Sierra and yours truly via a hunt that would never have ended with smiles had a SCOPE rifle been the choice of the day. ;)

ahem, ahem ..er...ah...I've shot 3 nice black bears so far.

One at around 75 yrds with my 30/30 (he went down and stayed down),

One at 10 yards with my 12 gauge and Buckshot (he was coming at me, so I had to empty the gun (but he went down and stayed down:D)

and One at 20 yards, broadside, with 12 gauge and buckshot. He lunged forward about 6 ft and stayed down also.

Next one will be with my bow :p:p:p

PS - Congrats on the B&C :D
