Oklahoma Bowhunters.......let's Try This Again.

As most of you know the broadhead laws in Oklahoma are frivilous. The law states that the broadhead has to be 1.5 inches from the seat to the tip. This rules out many broadheads most of which are very popular...........Slicktricks, G5 Strikers, Wac'ems, and many many more heads that are more than worthy of using. The laws need to be changed. They are only going to be changed by phone calls and emails. They think nobody cares about this law. Lets fill their ears and mailboxes full. Contact them all today.

Contact the Oklahoma Bowhunting Council and the ODWC.........Lets see if we can't get thousands of emails in these peoples inbox to get this changed.

Bryan.. I saw this thread on AT where you guys were discussing this.. Saw you and Jason replied to it.. I know last year that Jason was asking for pics of animals that were killed by those low profile heads. I have two diff groundhogs that were shot with Slick Tricks that I can send you pics of. No big game kills with them yet though.

I'll see what I can do to help. I wasn't aware of the law and I know a lot of hunters who use the G5 striker in OK. Interesting. Keep the thread alive and I'll get back to you guys.

Mrs. Chapman frequents the store that I work at very often and I have spoken to her about this before. I told her how Jason was trying for a while to get the ball rolling on this thing but wasnt given any help by the members of the bowhunting council that he talked to. She gave me her email and told me that if we could get together some information and maybe a petition and a statement as to why we want the law changed... she would be more than happy to make sure that it is reviewed by the council. So she would be a very good person to voice your opinions too and why.
