fenderhunt4
I was hoping for any feedback (good or bad) about the new G5 Sights. Seems like a good design and nice features but I want to know if it's worth the price. I am aware of other sights out there so I don't need any other brand suggestions...I'm just fishing for thoughts on their product.
RatherBowHunt
i personally didnt like it...for the price of the sight the quality is terrible....the fifth moveble pin never goes to where its supposed to...screws rattle loose quite often....if i were you i wouldnt not spend the 170 dollars on that sight....however the new sights from EXTREME are amazingly bright and awesome in the timber very reliable
VTbowman
I bought a used LE a year ago and love it. I did not experience anything the other guy posted about at all. The only thing that was a negative was that sighting in took a bit of time. The pin system works very well but is limited in range of movement. So for example, you get 20 and 30 sighted in but run out of adjustment for 40 so then you have to gang adjust to bring 40s pin in its range of motion. This naturally causes 20 and 30 to not be on any more so you need to go back and resight them. However since it has the fine tune feature this is very quick. It did not bother me at all but I have read others who did not care for that. As for quality I have not found anything to tell me its poor at all. The sight is designed for use with its light so if you do not get the light then low light hunting is nill. IE first and last few minute of legal. This is especially the case in a darken ground blind. Over all I think its its a great sight but I agree its pretty expensive. I would not of bought one brand new... I paid $80 for mine... BowtechTurkeyHunter
I have the ME with the fourth floating pin and I absolutely love it ... the pins are very bright even without the supplied light ... and the actual cost of a G5 site is about 150 just about everywhere ... it is probably the lightest sight on the market made of magnesium which is very strong ... I give the G5 crew a huge thumbs up on there sight Steve
AdvantageTimberLou
I have one coming just like Steve's ME model. I'll give you an update in a few weeks. I have always liked G5 products and the customer service is very good.

WVreddot870
I have the ME and love it! THe only problem I've had is I over tightened the pins and snapped one off. I called G5 and they sent me every screw that's in the sight---no questions asked----can't beat the customer service.
VTbowman
My brother just bought the ME and its pretty awesome IMO. I too had issues with mine at first. Since it was older the fiber optics were brittle and I ended up breaking 2 while moving them around. You can swap them out to arrange colors you want, etc. Well they sent me enough to do 2 sights plus a free G5 ball cap for free. I second the service from the G5 team!!! Michihunter
The G5 sights are top quality as with all their products. You won't be disappointed.
Guest Finn
For hunting, I can't justify the cost ($173 shipped from Cabelas) I can not imagine it being 2-3 times better than my sights.
