Guest realtrhunter
I would have to see better pic to really see how old he is. Definatly a good deer though, it would be tough to let him walk.

Guest J-Daddy
I'm thinking this deer is 3.5 years old...We saw 2 8pointers on the farm last year that had alot of the same features as this deer but they were smaller. He's got 2 different 10's on camera so far and I think they are the two 8points from last year...I'm pretty sure he's 3.5 though, he got a couple of other pics of him and he's not an old deer. He said there's another 10point on the farm that's a giant, he hasnt gotten him on camera yet but has watched him through his bino's feeding a few times. Wish I could hunt them some this year but I'm moving to Iowa in another week so I'll have to let my buddies have the KY deer this year..I might be able to find a buck or two in Iowa this year hopefully,lol.... Guest yoders_hideaway
depends on if you have other pictures or sightings of anything bigger in your area and if you think he could make it another year then it would be wow! where i hunt yeah he might get a 100gr in the kitchen! bwlacy
That would depend on where I was hunting. That deer looks young to me in that pic. When the velvet comes off he won't have much mass, his spread is narrow, but he has good tine length. Without other pics I would guess that deer around 125 inches. In northern Michigan I would shoot, southern Michigan, Iowa, or Illinois I would probably pass. And then kick myself later. Also might depend on the amount of land that I could control around him, where I hunt the most he would have a very good chance at making it to next year. Guest J-Daddy
I agree that he's young..Like I said before I think he's 3.5 As far as him making it another year or two, yeah if he can hide really well and doesnt come out he might make it..My buddy doesnt own alot of land there and all the farms around it get alot of pressure during rifle season..ALOT of poachers in the area too. I've seen them slip by and get old in the area but they dont stand alot of chance of doing it. I know my buddy wont pass him if he gets a chance. He says he will but I know better. Bow or Gun he'll go down if he walks by him in a stand. I dont have to worry about his son killing him though, he cant stay awake long enough to kill one, lol. Guest AReed
I'd definately let an arrow fly into the vitals of that fine buck.
