dogdoc
an offset is put on with a straight clamp with a slight "slant" or offset. It is not nearly as radical as a helical which actually has a bend and produces much more spin to the arrow. If you are shooting a fixed broadhead the helical will give your arrow a little more stability while in flight and prevent the broadhead from planing or trying to guide the arrow. I shoot a right offset fletch and have no problems with shooting fixed but now I shoot mechanical broadheads. todd
