As for scissors, you'll want to get a pair that actually cuts not just snips. . . with that in mind, I have a good-sized pair with plastic-coated colored handles made by the Aesculap company. Several of my co-workers have the same or similar pair. I must confess, I got my pair free at a conference :) and, seeing as how my college years were in the mid-80's, I'm worthless at providing any supply companies or websites (unless you want to purchase large quanities of surgical supplies :D).

Whatever, always remember to occasionally wipe down all of your "tools of the trade" with alcohol or some other type of cleaning agent. Good luck!!!

Best as I can remember they had that stuff at the school bookstore. I know the wife orders supplies for the nursing home she works at Ruth. She had to work to cover a shift last night, will try to get her to get on here later on after she gets up. I do know she orders from medline a lot, she placed an order from here at home there not too long back, but dont have a clue what she ordered.
