hutchies
They found the culprit............. Brown Recluse(aka Fiddleback) got him on the inside of his thigh. He is still in the hospital. They pumped him full of antibiotics and if id doesn't go down by today they are gonna do surgery and cut the spot out of his leg. The spot is now about the size of a softball and black as coal with a huge blister on top. Thanks all for the prayers............. I was releaved hearing it was a spider rather than Heart Attack or Stroke.

Texan_Til_I_Die
I'm not sure I wouldn't rather have a heart attack! Brown Recluse bites are incredibly difficult to recover from. Best wishes to your father in law.

wtnhunt
Have to agree with the above, about not being sure which would be worse. Brown recluse bites are pretty nasty. Hate those spiders, there is no shortage of them around here either. Hope your father in law makes a full recovery.

Bachflock
Mixed blessing but a blessing none-the-less! I'm thankful that brown recluses are extremely rare around here. Black widows are everywhere but no recluses.
