Guest mikebohio
I just got a new Browning Gold Deer Hunter semi-auto 12 gauge. I was wondering if anyone ealse had one. If so what slugs seem to shoot the best out of it?
EKYhunter
Congrats on a fine gun! I had a Browning Gold Hunter turkey gun in all camo. I traded it for a Benelli SBE. Worst trade I ever made. I miss that gun a lot! Try different loads and see what your particular gun likes best. I've got a 870 with a hastings barrel and it shoots Remington Copper solids very well. I'm assuming your Browning has a rifled barrel. If not shooting slugs with sabots won't help you unless you have the rifled choke tube.
