BearClaw
I have a Tru Glo Brite Site Extreme sight and it has worked great. Lately, even though I tighten it good, the left to right windage adjustment is moving after about 6 shots. I can tell because the arrows start to go right, then I check and sure enough, I should have 4 1/2 white lines showing and now I have only 4 or less. I've been trying to reach TruGlo but theri number is always busy. Any thoughts?
Squirrelhunter91
Try and put some Loc-tite on the screws holding the sight together.. that should put a stop to the sight moving.
hoytbowhunter
Loc-tite would be your best bet.
buckee
Get the medium strength loc-tite not the full strength stuff
BearClaw
I friend of mine said to try fingernail polish. Said it would be easier to back out if you needed to move it again instead of loc-tite. Where would you get medium strenth loc-tite, a hardware store? Jeramie
Clear Fingernail polish will work too. Yes you can get loctite at about any hardware store. Another option is to wrap the screw with Teflon. It will come right back out but will not move on its own.
EKYhunter
I was thinking of going with tru-glo and did a little research. Seems problems like these are pretty common with their sights. I ended up going with the spot-hogg hunter hoggit.
