Shot My Browning Gold Deer Hunter!

The weather here in SW Indiana warmed up and I got a chance to test fire my New Browning Gold 20 gauge Slug Gun. I have a Weaver 2.5-power mounted on it and I tested two brands of Sabot Slugs, after sighting in: Winchester Supreme Partition Golds 260 grain & Lightfield Hybred EXP 7/8 oz. Sabot Slug. Both were very accurate almost one hole groups @ 50 yards. The Winchester Sabots shot slightly higher due to the lighter bullet/slug and the Lightfield was about 1 1/2" to 2" lower than where the Winchester grouped. The Windage on both was identical. All said I am sure happy with my Browning Gold! Can't wait to tested it out a 100 Yards. grin.gif PS The recoil was very mild!

Thanks too_point! and I'll post how it does on the 100 yard range. Will be a little later in the upcomming year, as the 100 yard range is about 40 miles from where I live. I most likely wait until spring to get up there.
