smo
This is my first year using the rage's and man am I impressed. Shot a doe 10-20-07 and I watched it fall from the treestand. Got up to the deer and I have never seen a hole that big with a broadhead before. Best broadhead I've ever used.
bowin_in_illinois
Here's my testimonial. Shot this 4 pointer @ 20 yds. he ran 30-40 yds. and crashed. Pictures speak for themselves.

Tom2008
I haven't used them yet, but we just got about 10 packs in yesterday at Gander Mountain and I sold 4 to one guy and 2 other packages to 2 other guys. They are going out quicker than we can get them on the shelf.
dosse
Here is mine, this is my second doe of the season with them, 23 yard shot pass through she took it 60 yards but i could see the blood pumping out the entry and exit on her death run. These are the first mechanical heads i have ever shot deer with and i am really impressed with these heads Exit
Tominator
I wasn't too sure about the 3 blades in reading this thread, but I was pretty impressed with the 2 blade field reviews, so I got a pack when they went on sale a couple of weeks ago. I must say, I'm impressed. I shot a fawn (yes, you read that correctly, landowner wants antlerless deer dead, period, so I obliged ) Anyway, this deer stopped around 12 yards away from my stand, quartering away and the Rage 2 blade hammered that deer. Entry went a little high, but the exit went through the leg bone on the opposite side. Not the scapula, the bone, and snapped it in two. The head held together with only one major nick on one of the blades. I'm shooting a Mathews Switchback XT set at #70, with a 28" draw, 27" Goldtip 7595. I have no idea as to the kinetic energy or the fps on that arrow, but it was lights out for that deer in about 15 seconds. It spun and ran back to where it came from on 3 legs, cartwheeled at 15 yards and fell stone dead 2 seconds later. Ohiobucks has a couple pictures he might post. Now, granted, this was a small fawn (puny would be a better word, lol), and fawns aren't nearly as durable as an adult deer, but I think this head would have killed an adult deer with that hit too. Ohiobucks
Ohiobucks has a couple pictures he might post. I wouldn't do that to you...... BUT, I will say that after seeing that entry and exit on Tominator's deer, I'll be off to buy a pack of Rage 2 blade broadheads before this weekend. Tominator
I wouldn't do that to you...... Seriously, I don't mind. You know my only regret on that deer. Michael says I'm out anyway, so go ahead and post it.
bghunter777
I have not read all the post i tried the 3 blade version this year saturday morning shot a doe at a steep quartering towar went through the front should deer ran about 100 yards even w one hole and being a little high no trouble following the blood. only possible negative is the arrow broke off inside the deer when i took it out while gutting the deer the 3 blade was now a 2 blade one of the heads did break off. overall though i was very Very impressed w the blood trail and entrance hole
Guest baerbucks005
I realize this discussion is pretty much over with, but here is my 2 cents. Last year I shot 3 does with the Rage 3 blade and also a 10 pointer thats hanging on my wall. This year I have shot 2 does with the 3 blade, my hunting buddy shot a doe with the 2 blade, and my dad shot a doe with the 3 blade. We have never shot at an animal with the rage broadheads and hit it but never recovered the deer. It was also never a struggle to find these deer, even if the hit was a little off, we never struggled to find them, there was always a great blood trail and huge entry wholes. That right there is enough evidence for me. They have always worked, have yet to fail and I believe that they never will!
hoytman26
My dad, my buddy and I have shot 3 deer this year with the rage 2 blade. Total yards altogether that the deer have run is 82 yards and I know this because every deer we ranged from the tree and subtracted the # of yards the deer were shot at. All fell within sight and they are unreal. I love, love, love, love them. Best broadhead ever made. Only problem is you have to be carefull about the blades opening when putting into a quiver but its still no problem. Cant wait to shoot big daddy with them. Good luck everybody!!!!! Indy-Travis
Now that I have some experience with them, my take. I bought a pack of the three blades before I saw this thread. Shot a small deer with one a few weeks ago, worked as advertized, big on both holes, good blood and short recovery. This past weekend, shot a big doe, quartering away, perfect hit, entered about three quarters back in the ribs, exited through the front of the shoulder. The blades did not deploy, both holes were small, the exact cut of the unopened head. She bled scantly for just the first 30 yards, then no more blood. She went about 140-150 yards and if I hadn't heard her pile up in the thick cover, it may have been a dicey prospect at recovery. The deer was dead and down in a matter of seconds, but the head didn't open much of a hole at all. I have one head left, and not sure if I will use it or not. It sounds like the two blades are a much more reliable head, but I think I will stick to Rockets if I buy any more mechs. The have never failed me to date. Guest SCDeerhunter
I used them during the first part of deer season this year awesome broadhead. Smoked a doe with the 3 blade. Good blood! The only reason I went back to Muzzy is because the Rage is a little high maintinence. I had to keep replacing the o-rings like every two days. Other than that the broadhead is outstanding. Flies like a dart and impacts like a mac-truck. Good Luck!
