Guest Ironhorse
I have established a couple of mineral licks on my lease. My experience is that they get hit the hardest during the spring and summer. Have any of you experienced similar patterns? I was also wondering if and when any of you guys stop putting minerlas out for the year. Thanks
dogdoc
i always keep my mineral licks stocked--but you are correct--most usage is during the spring and summer.
toddyboman
I agree we receive the most activity in the spring and summer.
wtnhunt
Highest activity is in the spring and summer, but the sites will see some use during the fall. Also keep our sites going year round here too.
Ravin R10 man
You really want to see HUGE results?..Try topdressing corn with loose 2 to 1 mineral after season until spring. You will add at least 10 inches, minumum, to every bucks antlers..pm me for more.
Guest Ironhorse
How often do you guys refresh your sites and what do you seem to get the best results from? I put some out whenever I can get to my lease, which once a month or so. It seems to me like Black Magic gets hit the hardest.
wtnhunt
Have gotten our best results here from the trophy rock, but most all work fairly well. Replenish the sites as needed, which will depend on use, how much you put out, and on precipitation.
