Well my father-in-law just couln't take it any loner .. :D:D He would come up on Sundays and sit and watch my father and I shoot. He made the comment boy I would like to try that, it looks like fun... So my father busted out the Viper cross bow and let him go at it,, Man we couldn't get the guy to stop shooting..:rolleyes:

Before anyone asks why the crossbow and not the compound bow, my father-in-law is 66 yrs. old and has severe neck and shoulder problems... :(:( but to me that's neither here nor there..;)

Well today he purchased one of these ... :):)

And man let me tell ya,, I'm having an absolute BLAST.. I not only get to shoot with my father who's recovering well from his cancer treatments, I get to enjoy this sport with my father - in - law as well ... and I'm getting the father-in-law back in the woods this fall... How much better can that get ?? .. ;)

Well how about this my NEW bow choice is down to two bows,, it's either going to be the Hoyt Vectrix XL or the Bowtech Guardian .... I'm leaning more towards the Hoyt...;)

This just may become my November Birthday present from my father-in-law,, he kind of hinted on that tonite...:);)

Well enough rambling from me... :):)

That's just too cool Luke. :D

I'm happy for you, your Dad, and especially your Father-in-law.:cool:

How much was that thing worth Luke?

The 10 Point Blazer HP setup with allmof the goodies cost him a quick $1499.00 ...:eek:

Sure glad I can still pull a compuond bow back ... ;) But man can that thing fling some bolts down range .. ;):)

That is one awesome crossbow..........Personally I think that crossbow restrictions are dumb. I wish they would allow them to be hunted with. They are ethical and accurate. Don't see any reason why you should have to get a permit to hunt with it.

I totally agree 100% .. I look at it as another weapon to hunt with ... I personally will hunt with my compound until I can NO longer draw and hold the weight,,, but I would have absolutely NO quams with hunting with a crossbow..or hunt with some that's using one.. To me it's being out there doing what we love to do ..;)
