unioncountyslayer
Well, it's been a long time coming, but me and a buddy of mine finally got an ATV ministry going at our church. Our first ride was this past Saturday (unfortunatly due to my broken wrist I wasn't able to go!) and there were 15 guys that showed up. Not a bad turnout considering we first advertised the ministry less than a week before the ride. Anyway, just wanted to share the good news with you guys and wanted to show y'all the website my wife's friend made for us. http://www.southbrookatv.com/ *If you get a network solutions page when you click on the website, just hit your refresh button on your browser and that should load the page. It's still somewhat under construction, but you'll get the gist.

Jeramie
Good idea! There are a few places around here that rope and have rodeos and such for Church Based events. They go over so I can see potential in the idea! Good luck and God bless that idea.

wildside
That's really cool. Sometimes the idea of putting on something other than jeans and sitting in a house of worship can sound uninviting, especially to those looking into organized religion for the first time. We can worship God anywhere and anytime, and all efforts by those with faith to encourage the faithless into a relationship with God are admirable. My favorite worship services as a kid were at an outdoor church which we went to in the summertime. Perfect pairing for me, as I love both God and the beautiful nature He created! Best wishes for continued success with your "Church in the Mud"!

unioncountyslayer
Now that is just too cool. Do the girls get to do this too?? Most definitly! We actually have about 3 girls right now. My best friends wife loves it and has her own ATV. Plus a few guys have Yamaha Rhinos and take their wives and girlfriends with them.
