To all you old timers this may not mean anything but to me a young guy who loves baseball it means alot! This is my generation and its how it is so except it! If baseball didnt want steroids they should have tested. Im not saying its right im just saying its how it is and ill be darn proud someday to tell my kids I saw Barry Bonds become the homerun King!I know there are alot and I mean alot of people my age that feel the same way. I still think baseball is a great game not a sic game and im proud to say that somebody that I have grown up watching is the homerun King!:p

Come on coach?? just because your young dosnt mean a thing Im 24 and i couldnt care less about his home run. I rember staying up late to watch maguire(sp?) brake the single season record. I was the happiest little kid around, then to find out about all the steroids makes me want to spit in his face. He and all roid users have disgraced americas game to the point where it isnt even our "national past time" anymore. People are sick of looking at a bunch of cheaters. Read any of the old baseball classic books "The Iowa Baseball Conf." comes to mind and what you will find are a bunch of farm kids out to bring pride to there town, there girl, and there family. it was a way to pass a sunday afternoon or a way off the farm.

You cant tell me isnt a user or you cant really be kidding yourself. When BB was a rookie he was 6'4" 180 pounds (the exact weight and height I'am right now) i can promise you that even if i did nothing but lift weights and work out for the next 20 years id ever put on 70pounds of weight.

No sir no hat off here. The record in my mind still stands at 755. The sad thing is what we will really be telling our kids 20 years from now is that we grew up during a time when drugs, money, and greed ruined what was once The Nations Game

I think we're talking to a wall here fellers.
Look guys im just saying I woul rather something like that record be a big deal to me than sit around and complain about it. I have my opinion and you guys have yours thats what makes sports so fun!It doesnt mean im a wall it just means we dont agree thats the fun of threads like this you can get people fired up!I praise Bonds and you guys get fired up you bash the COWBOYS and ill get fired up! So you see it doesnt matter how many anologies you make I still beleive what I beleive and you beleive what you beleive. We can argue all day but at the end of the day Bonds will still have the record and we all still wont agree. Its great!

I think A-Rod will break it sooner or later,

I was reading what you wrote and thought. well Bonds has not been proved that he is a cheater yet.

I agree but he probably will get proven guilty untill he does I dont have a problem with him.

I wouldnt wish that on anyone but Griff seems to have gotten it turned around.

I'm not wishing it on him, but i'm saying that that would be the only way A-Rod will not break the record. And yes, Griffey is turning it around, but i dont think that there is the slightest chance of him having 150+ homeruns in him.

I wish he could but I dont think he has that much left either. I would like to see Arod do it.I dont think anyone else is close?Ryan Howard might get it someday if he stays healthy but that is a long way out!

Ryan Howard will not i dont believe. Though he is the fastest player to reach 100 homeruns, he is 27 already, so i dont think there is a chance for him.
I didnt know he was 27 I thought he was younger!
