Guest phil
I am trying to figure out which is better for deer hunting. I have tried both synthetic and feather veins on my arrows but I'm still not sure which one is better. I'm looking for speed an accuracy...can anyone give me some pointers? Gator
I prefer feathers on my hunting arrows. I just like the way they fly over vanes. It's really all about personnel preference, and what may work better for you
Wisconsinboy
i used feathers until about 4 years ago. i started using the NAP quickspin and been very happy with them. they spin the arrow faster making for tighter groups. i really like them and will continue to use them. Bownarow
I've shot feathers for the past couple of years with good luck and satisfaction. However, I have been shooting Blazers for the past couple of months alongside my feathers and they seem to group just as well. The one complaint I have had with my feathers is that they lay down in prolonged or heavy rain. So, I think I'll be shooting Blazers this year for hunting but will probably keep shooing the feathers for 3D.
