I had a post a couple of weeks ago about a really bad super cuts hairdo. I finally got sick of looking at my $14 investment so this past Monday I took out the clippers, put on a 1/4" guard and bzzzzzzzzzzzzzz........ Yep, it be short now. Im hearing all sorts of comments now. Other then the fact it shows how large my head is, it looks great. No more gels or head wax and I can now wash my stubble and shine with a bar of soap.... I will proable grow some hair out before winter, but it is just now starting to get hot in Okieland. I hate it in the hospital when you are bathing with a pan and washrag! Can't wash your hair! You should have seen the look on my wife's face when I came home with it clipped real short! LOL!! So are you saying that if you could, you'd have a head full of hair that you would have to wash, dry and style over and over? Shaving it and not having to worry about it anymore sounds GREAT to me. Once I landed my wife, I had no use for my beautiful locks, so I started buzzing it myself. Haven't paid for a haircut in close to 20 years I'd say. I have let it grow out a couple of times but when I was tired of it (usually in the summer) I'd just break out the clippers and off it went. I'm really surprised my clippers have lasted this long, as much as I use them. Think I paid around 30 bucks for them around 10 years ago at Wal-Mart. They are the kind made for trimming dogs.
