muggs
Yes, I am one. But I've never really expressed my utter distaste and dislike for 98% of the other Browns fans out there. I'm ready to let you all in on a little secret...I'm embarrassed to share loyality with some of these yahoos. I just saw a poll on the local newspaper's website. It was titled "When Should Brady Quinn Start?" The options were, -Game 1 -Half-way through the season -After One Full season and -He'll get hurt before he ever starts Could you believe that 25.7% picked "He'll get hurt before he ever starts." :o I swear, you'll be hard pressed to find a bigger collective group of negative people in the world. It's a shame they root for the coolest football team, ya know?
Tominator
Can you blame them? Name me one other city with as much bad luck.
buckbuster11
Bud, if 98% of the fans for your team are "yahoo's" maybe that should tell you something. Look man, don't be afraid to come over to the winning side. You just let me know, and when you are ready.....I've got a terrible towel coming your way. toddyboman
Muggs we already discussed this you are a Steeler fan not a brown fan.:p Don't you think they are negative cause of all the crap that happens to the Browns.... You get accustom to it and thats just the way they think.
buckbuster11
They are negative because they stink, they always stink, always will stink, from top to bottom. Same thing here with the Pirates. I know exactly how it is.

Guest Finn
Muggsy, C'mon over to being a Cheesehead. Beer, brats and Lambeau Field in Titletown.....doesn't get any better than that. If you switch this season, you'll get to cheer for the greatest quarterback in NFL history, too
Steven
If you switch this season, you'll get to cheer for the greatest quarterback in NFL history, too Is Green Bay collectively that stuck in the past that they're just now jumping on the Joe Montana bandwagon? muggs
Chris, I think it's more of a self fulling prophecy then anything else. If you keep thinking negatively and talking negatively, negative things will happen to you. You get knocked down, you get back up...everytime. Phil said it, "this woe is me attitude needs to change." And really, outside of the team being moved by an idiot owner...what bad things have happened that haven't happened to other teams? Guys get hurt, teams lose, franchises go through down times. Heck, look at the "Stillers"...they were garbage prior to the 1970's before Terry Bradshaw went off. True, "Stillers" fans never seem to acknowlege the world existed prior to 1970, but it did. John, there's two things I'll never do in life. 1.) Root for the Squeelers. 2.) Date a guy. In that order. Craig, my 2nd favorite team is the Pack fo' sho'. I'm big on cold weather towns with great football tradition, great uniforms, and great fans. That's why I really take it to heart when I see that teary eyed Favre keep turning that screw tighter on you guys. And, I hate with a passion any team that's named after a "scary" animal and has either teal or sea foam green in there unis. That's Disney garbage IMO. buckbuster11
Yeah Eric, the Pirates and Pens are tearing it up! Yeah, the Pens are horrible. I'll remind you of that when they are holding up the Cup within the next couple of years.

buckbuster11
I was bleeding orange AND brown when you were crappin in your diapers. Yeah, and muggs true fans don't have "2nd favorite teams". What a sellout.
muggs
It's not like I root for the Pack, I just like what they have going on over there and the fans are a good group. Speaking of fans, I can't wait for tailgating Sept. 9th. It's an unfortunate truth, that any and all "Stillers" fans who park in the muni lot and have to walk past us to enter the stadium will be hearing the "a-hole chant" from my group. It will be a long walk for those coal miners.
buckbuster11
The "a-hole" chant? Oh gosh no. How could my fellow Steelers fans bare that? Listen bud, get all your chanting in before the game because after the game the only chants you will be hearing will sound like this...... "Here we go Steelers....Here we go!!" "Here we go Steelers....Here we go!!"

buckbuster11
You do realized you have had one QB this decade that has thrown more TD's then INT's a season right? Jeff Garcia. 10 TD's 9 INT's. And how many wins do all of your QB's combined in the last decade have? Probably not as many as Ben. Playoffs? None. Super Bowls? None Wow. Again, you have no room to talk.

If the Stillers were moved, out of the league for 5 years, then given 252 days to find a GM, coaching staff and front office (the Jags had 1,200 and the Panthers had 1,000- not a coincidence they've been the most sucessful expansion teams either DB)...how do you think they'd be doing? Apples and oranges my friend and the Old Browns owned the Steelers. Matter of fact, I think the overall lifetime matchup still shows the Browns up a few games and that's saying something cosider you've won like 13 straight. Also, outside of the Bradshaw era...it's pretty bleak Parninni.
buckbuster11
We will be bypassing you in the next couple of years and then you won't have that same dreary argument about what the Browns won in 1735 win there were only 2 teams in the league...and Art Modell....moving the team...blah blah blah blah blah. BTW---get a new argument/excuse. BTW2---Just remembered something. There is no other argument/excuse to use because other then just admitting the obvious, that the Browns are a horrible stinking franchise, you've got no other leg to stand on . So I guess you'll be sticking with that one.

So I guess you'll be sticking with that one. The NFL exploited the move situation for the benefit of two new NFL stadiums and a new team, thus an increased revenue stream. The initial front office was a bomb, that's set us back. But we have phil savage in there and he's done a nice job. Matter of fact, future's looking pretty bright and I can't say the same for Pittspuke. The Browns have a ton of young talent, probably more than any other NFL team. It's only a matter of time.
