We did have a little shower a little over a week ago that was not even forecast, enough to settle the dust. The 10 day forecast here shows no rain. Funny thing is, it's been so hot and humid, the corn is developing waaaaay fast. I planned on the incredible plot for the party, but I picked some Silver Queen today and was shocked to see that it is ready now! We might be in for some chewy corn come the 19th! One guy at work here lost power yesterday afternoon and isn't getting it back until midnight tomarrow. Trust me, we got some rain out of that one. I haven't checked the rain gauge yet, but I'd guess we got an inch or so.
