mule659
I got my new Alpha Burly boots in today in AP. I work the shoe department for Bass Pro and have tried a lot of boots and to me none were as comfortable...now if September 15th would hit already! preacherman
I really enjoyed mine; until my buddy from Kentucky ruined them! Tore a big hole in the side of them. They are the most comfortable boots you will put on your feet; for a rubber boot that is!
Tecumseh
Great boots, I've had mine for a couple of years with no problems.

Bownarow
These are absolutely the best knee boots on the market. I'm on my second pair and as long as they keep making them I'll buy another pair when these wear out.
jerdanmagic
I have to agree! I bought my first pair 4 years ago and I've about worn them out. They are the most comfortable hunting boots that I've ever put on my feet. I'll probably go get another pair before season starts, in the new AP pattern. BearClaw
Anyone try the Alpha Burly Lite boots? Are they as comfortable?
Brad6639
I got a pair of the alpha burley;s back in 2005, they are the 1,000 gram ones. I couldnt be happier, comfy, long lasting and the best boot on the market in my opinion. I have just about worn out the liner, and Ill probly just buy a new pair after this season. Ive worn them for 2 hunting seasons and 2 icefishing seasons and my feet only got cold 1 time last year when icefishing, but it was like 30 below with the wind and I wasnt freezing just uncomfortable. Guest Guideman
I also have those boots. 2 pair. 1 for early season and another in the 1000 gram thinsulate for the colder months. Very comfortable boots. I am pleased with LaCrosse.

Guest gt2003
replacing rocky bear claws I'm going to have to retire my Rocky Bear Claws this year. I've had them probably 4 or 5 years and this year, the sole is disintegrating (see other thread). It looks almost as if my dog has gnawed off most of the sole. I have really enjoyed these boots because they fit well (don't slip) and they have 1000 grams of thinsulate. So, the LaCrosse alphaburlys are looking really good to me. I've got a couple of questions: 1. Do they come in a 1000 gram thinsulate, I only see the 800 gram and, most importantly, 2. Do they fit snug and not slip? Every time I've worn rubber boots in the past I've had trouble with them slipping and rubbing. Thanks, Greg
