I shot it once before and I had a blast. I don't know if my dad wants to do it again though because I beat him last time and made $10 off of it. lungbuster12point06 Posted August 15, 2007 Report Share Posted August 15, 2007 I used to shoot on a video archery league til the bow shop closed down.............it was alot of fun and good practice for keeping your form and such.........the only draw back is the range never changes(20 yards)but if you practice at real hunting distances as well it is a good tool to keep you sharp. MUDRUNNER Posted August 17, 2007 Report Share Posted August 17, 2007 I shot on a DART(screen) and pop-up combo league in the spring and it was a blat.We still shoot it about every two weeks.I think it's $3 for 15 minutes...not too bad.The turkeys and hogs really give me fit. (premier Archery) i loved it!! i did really well on it too i beat my dad silly he said it was only cuz he couldn't see under the lighting conditions but i say u need to be able to see under any lighting conditions i still would have beat him silly even if it weren't for the lights :D:D:D:cool: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Washi Posted August 21, 2007 Report Share Posted August 21, 2007 I've shot on a DART league two winters in a row and my team got first place this year. It is very fun. The only bad thing I think about it is that it makes start to punch my release a lot by the end. Then I have to put in extra practice in the summer to break that habit, which isn't all bad. Cybertech_hound819, I get emotions before the shot if it is one I remember I don't like and after if I miss or hit a bullseye. It's not like real hunting but it's pretty cool.
