Adjam5
The 07-08 NYS hunting tags are available. The new tags are yellow! A lot easier to spot in the woods. Remember when they were pink? YUK! Anyway. NYSDEC has put some hard work and invested in a better and more quality rules and regs book. Most of it is in color and easy to understand. You can just look at the new book they give you, when you get your tags, that it has a new look and it written differently than in the past. It looks like a high quality Hunting magazine. One thing that the new one has that stands out from books of the past is....advertisements. DEC has taken advertisements in their annual rules/regs book. It was a matter of time. As long as the money taken in is used for the betterment of wildlife in NYS than it was a smart move to take in sponsors and the like. This move might also have been a way to cut off future tag price increases for a while. By taking in $ from advertisers. The newly appointed DEC commish Grannis so far is off on a good foot. Lets see how far he steps.

Adjam5
I have a old file folder with all my old tags in it. I have them back to the 80's. The new computer printer tags...while economical, just don't have that old romance as the old cardboard tags did. Collectors items to me.
