sluggunner
Well, the wife and I finally broke down and sold the first home we ever owned. We bought a new house in a little town 23 miles north of where we used to live. I used to drive only 2 miles to work each day and now will have a 23 mile commute! The good thing is it is all highway driving except for the last mile and a half. It takes 25 minutes from my job to the new house's driveway, BUT we will be out of the city! I will have a nature preserve in the back yard now instead of the back of a neighbors house. I will never have neighbors behind me except for the deer, racoons, rabbits and other critters. NO I can not hunt there as it is a PRESERVE, but it will be nice to have a backyard that is all woods and wildlife. I will be less than a mile from the shores of Lake Michigan and I can walk to the marina and the breakwater to go fishing whenever I want. This is a big step for us and a major life change. I hope we don't regret it...

sluggunner
Thanks for all of the well wishes. I'll have to post some photos of my NEW trophy room once I get settled in. My old trophy room was a little 10 X 10 foot room in the basement. the new one will be around 850 square feet of taxidermy paradise!!
