paper tuning

but what is the purpose of paper tuning how much does it improve accuracy?

The purpose is to take any unnecessary wobble out of your arrow in flight, from the time it leaves your string, until the time it hits your target, thus making your arrows hit straight and true.

Improves accuracy 100% IMO

i would highly recommend doing it if you have never done it. Its easy to do and can tell you alot about your set up. I did it this year and ending up buying new arrows that would fly true with what im shootin. !! its a great thing to do, if you need help im sure a local pro shop will help you out

Paper tuning is another way to fine tune your setup. Start by making sure your rest is installed correctly (the arrow sits level with the berger hole, is 90 degrees off the string and center shot is set. I only paper tune when there is a problem. If my broadheads won't fly like my field points then I paper tune. I see a lot of guys that come into the archery shop that want their bow paper tuned, but don't know why (they just heard it needed it). My training in this came from Bowtech's proshop so its not just my opinion. If you are having arrow flight problems and your rest is installed correctly then you should paper tune.
