Guest antlers21
I am wondering if you haved used the snyper how do you like it. I like the fact that the blades slide back like the tekan but have not used a two blade broadhead before. Hope to get some help here. Swamphunter
Re: Anyone use the Rocky Mountain Snyper broadhead? I use the Rocky Mountain Revolution which also slide backwards and I LOVE them. They fly just like my field points and open very easily. The rearward action is supposed to reduce the chance of deflections on quartering shots.
robk
Re: Anyone use the Rocky Mountain Snyper broadhead? i shot hte snyper nd it;s a good broadhead but ii prefered the rocket steelhead. for me when i was testing it was harder to put the rubber o ring back on than with the steelhead and the rocket make for a larger entrance and exit wound for me. but if i was not using steelheads i would use the snypers rob k
Guest antlers21
Re: Anyone use the Rocky Mountain Snyper broadhead? I did not know that the sniper used the rubber O ring, I thought they had a cam action like the tekan. Swamphunter, does the revolution have an O ring as well? Let me know, thanks. Swamphunter
Re: Anyone use the Rocky Mountain Snyper broadhead? Yes it does have the O-ring but I don't have any problems with it at all.
Guest bownut
Re: Anyone use the Rocky Mountain Snyper broadhead? Been using them for two years now and have nothing but good things to say about them. I have shot three deer with them and the entrance wound is incredable with an excellent exit wound. Bllod trails were very easy to follow. Two of the deer dropped in under 60 yards. The o-ring is easy to put in place.
snapper
Re: Anyone use the Rocky Mountain Snyper broadhead? [ QUOTE ] I thought they had a cam action like the tekan. [/ QUOTE ] They do work on a cam and yes they do have a small rubber band that goes over the blades just to hold them from opening too soon. The rubber band is easy to put on and causes me no problems. I've been using the snypers for a couple of years now and pretty much all I use. I was never one for a mech. head...but shot a few deer with them and now its all I use. Very good broadheads and will continue to use them! JimT
Re: Anyone use the Rocky Mountain Snyper broadhead? The head itself is nice, but the rubber band is not. It breaks way to easy in a quiver.
ilhnter
Re: Anyone use the Rocky Mountain Snyper broadhead? i use the rocky mountain snyper and have never once had a band break in my quiver. I love these heads and will never shoot anything differen. Shoot just like field tips, big entry wounds, good blood trails and does the job quick. Best mech. head there is in my opinion
