Where are the teal?

Hey I was just wondering if anyone has seen any teal migrating yet. I figure it is probably a tad early but the season here opens in less than a month. With the weahter like it is now all ducks are probably making their way to the arctic. If I had wings, I would. Where are people seeing them right now?

I talked to my brother today, who works the conservation department in Nebraska. He was he has been seeing a lot of ducks at the waterfowl management areas in the south central part of the state. He didn't say what they all were but he said he has seen some mallards and redheads.

Our season started here on the 8th of Sept. Been seeing lots of GWs and BWs. They are usually the first to migrate here along with the Sandhills. Today it was 30c(2c two days ago), so they may be here for a bit longer as this warm spell is supposed to last for the rest of the week. Sure hope so as they are mighty fine eating.

Opening day here in SE SD produced a mess of teal. Our group shot some blue wings, green wings, spoonbills and a few mallards. I shot a blue wing, green wing, two spoonbill and a mallard, all hens. Talked to a friend of mine today, his group limited out with two spoonbills and thirteen teal 45 minutes into opening day and they also shot four teal this morning before church as well. Was kind of dissappointed, none of the drakes are in full color yet, of course they won't be for a month or two yet. How'd everyone else do?
