Tony
i went to Lancasters Archery and bought a Grayling fletching jig, goat tuff glue and some fletching. i bought the jig with a straight clamp, because thats what are on all my arrows. this also allows me to put a 1 to 3 degree offset if i wish. cost was very minumal. i think i spent like 40 bucks total for everything. scraping your arrows of your old fletching can be done with a dull knife or a fletching stripper. a small jar of acetone will let you clean the shafts to be glued. i was actually amazed how easy it was to do. the hard part is getting the right amount of glue on the fletch and then getting it to make perfect contact with the shaft. once you get the fletcher set up the right way it sure doesnt take long to do a few arrows. im sure there are many here that are more experienced than i am on fletching arrows. they will give you some good advice. hutchies
Tony it's weird to hear you say there are many here more experience than you with anything archery. I've been using my grayling for about 3 years now and have no complaints.
okiedog
I have 3 different jigs in the shop. Arizona, Jon-Jan 6 arrow, and a Bitz. As far as durability and consistancy, its the Bitz hands down. I have had mine for 9 years now with NO issues.

257bob
I am also surprised that not more have jumped on here and proclaimed the bitz. I have been using the grayling and it works flawlessly for half the price.

LifeNRA
well if i go with a bitz jig what kind of offset clamp do i need straight or what and what do the difference do explain to me what is better the offsets or straight First off, what rest are you using? If you have the Whisker Biscuit rest. Use the STRAIGHT clamp. If you using a prong style, you can use either one. The straight clamp is the one I use, The HELICAL clamp will install your vanes with a wrapping motion around the shaft. This will cause the arrow to spin once it leaves the bow. Its all a matter of personal preference.
JimPic
JoJan multi-fletcher w/left wing clamps.Been using it trouble free for 10+ years.I fletch about 4-5 dozen shafts a year with it
hoytbowhunter
I have heard that the Bohning Tower Fletching Jig is very nice and quite simple to use. I myself have not used this jig but a friend of mine has one and he has nothing but good to say about it.
Guest BowhuntIL
Another vote for the Jo-Jan. I have the single arrow model and have had very good luck with it. Also used the Arizona, & Grayling. I prefer the Jo-Jan over both of these.
