thebig1
that is a good tip Jim, but i have to disagree with one thing. No matter how hard you try i don't think you'll ever differentiate the sound of a deer and a 200 lb. squirrel.
Stinger-Hunter
Re: Tip of The Week 200 lb squirrels def sound similar to deer. The smaller ones make higher pitch sounds when scurrying around the leaves. The deer are a little lower pitched. If you only hear leaves, don't bother looking. If you hear some ground contact - look slowly, unless you're like me then the other animals point and laugh and will call you "rubber neck"

buckbuster11
Re: Tip of The Week The squirrels may run around and sound like deer but they make up for it when they start doing that bark when they see something. Anytime I hear that I know somethings coming, and its usually deer. Great tip jim.
