Bowtech_archer07
Ok.. here's my predicament. I got a Knight Revolution muzzleloader for my birthday and when I went out and shot it... at 100 yds. i'm dead on.. but at 200 yards it drops 2 ft. My dad and a friend have the same gun shooting the same bullet and charge(295 gr. sabot and 100 gr. of loose Pyrodex powder) and at 200 yds. their bullet drops about 10 in. Any suggestions?????? hangunnr
Have you chronographed the loads? Sounds to me like there is enough difference in bore diameter to lower the pressure in your barrel causing the lower impact point. hangunnr
wtnhunt
Think I would try changing up the loads some and maybe change up your sabot and see what kind of different performance you are getting.

billkay
My Knight ballistics chart says that a 290 grain bullet (Knight Poly Tip SBT) with 100 grains of powder sighted in at 100 yards should have a drop of a bit over 17 inches. A 300 grain bullet (Knight Red Hot) will have a drop of about 21 inches. I think that there must be some other differences between the guns. Where do the other guns hit at 100 yards? I'm guessing that they're about 4 inches high if they're hitting 10 inches low at 200. The 290 has about 880ft lbs at 200 and the 300 has only 780 ft lbs at 200.
