Swamphunter
Another pool season has came and gone in Northern NY. I can't get my pool temperature above 66 degrees with the 45 degree nights we are having. We had a good solid month of pool season this year...I need to move south. The weather hasn't been too bad in NY this summer, but the ights have been cooler than usual. Almost time to winterize it and cover it. Next year I am adding a heater. wtnhunt
Sorry, but that is kind of funny Ken. We cannot keep our pool temp below 90 right now. Was 94 in it yesterday, not at all refereshing.
dogdoc
those heaters can sure run up the gas bill. We will have another good month or so with our pool. Right now I have the waste pump going. Woke up with water flowing over the pool. We received over 5 inches of rain in the last 9 hours. Swamphunter
It was 45 degrees this morning when I woke up. My pool water is currently 66 degrees and has not been over 68 - 70 in the last 3 weeks. Sad.. The heater we are going to add is a solar panel one. The cost is a few hundred bucks but the sun is free!

RangerClay
Looks like we might get some pool warming weather later this week!
Rhino
Same problem as William down here. I went to a friends house on the coast a week ago to do some fishing offshore. His pool temp was 96. Didn't sound too refreshing to me.
Jeramie
Believe it or not the water has been cold down here! On the 100+days its not bad but the other day we were in the high 80's and the water was cold that night. We swam and I froze the whole time.... I dont know how we use to swim in local creeks. That water is 10X colder.
