LifeNRA
Yes, there's cougars in PA. People don't question if there's lions in CA/CO/MT/ID...etc....but how many residents of those western states have actually seen them unless they specially hunt for the cats? How many have ever seen a roadkilled Mt. Lion because there should certainly be several in CA each year with the huge population of big cats? I'll keep an open mind on the subject of em being here in PA. Until one is either shot, or hit by a vehicle, or photographed by me, I say BS! I am not saying its not possible either! I just don't see a resident population here just yet.
LifeNRA
yea idc what you think but i know what i saw The point is this! If you seen this animal, why are you not out trying to get a picture of this beast? I guarantee, If I seen this cat, there would be bait stations and trail cams everywhere! Plus I would be in there waiting with my own camera!!!

Guest WI_Sportsman
My buddy was upnorth around Phillips a couple weeks ago bear hunting and they ran a mountain lion out across the highway and it was seen by multiple people. I was never nieve enough to think that they weren't in this state but until someone I trust actually saw it I wouldn't believe it
IowaDeerHunter
A few summers back I saw a couple of kittens (cougar) just north of where I live as we were driving by a soybean field. They looked like they were pro'ly 5-6months old and 30-50 pounds and were covered head to toe in brown spots. I called SDGFP the next morning and told them. All I got was a "Yeah...sure...ok son...if you say so...uhhuh...yep...sure son, we'll check it out...yep..." Boy I'll tell ya, that got my blood boiling. Anyways, they did check it out and they confirmed it with two sets of tracks. They've definitely expanded out of the Hills and across the river into far southeastern SD and have even set up a breeding poulation as well. Dakota I know what you mean Dakota. There was one killed just north of me in Ireton, IA, and wasnt there one killed around Yankton, SD or somewhere close? When you have one hit by a car a little south of here and two killed within a half hour drive, you can not deny they are not around, I doubt three just escaped from somewhere.
