I was wondering if any one had any tips on paper tuning. Pics would be nice if available. I think I shoot pretty good,(groups and all) but sometimes I can see my arrow "wobble" a bit. Was hoping that paper tuning could fix that, but Im not sure at all on how to do it. thanks in advance fellas!!

heres a good link to read on paper tuning.

also if you get the Easton Arrow maintenance and tuning guide it helps a lot .

i love paper tuning. it gives me a visual mark on whats going on when my arrow come out of my bow and it only takes me about 15 mins to tune it this way. but you need a frame to hold the paper and it needs to be very tight. you then need to shoot at it from 4 to 6 feet away.

not only will paper tuning tell you how to move your rest, but it will tell you if you have a weak or stiff spine. which can be cured with either turing the poundage down or up slightly or moving your nocking piint or the rest slightly.

your wobble you see might just be that arrow only. it could be it needs the nock turned or that a fletch just catches your eye.

also do not try to get a perfect bullet hole. a slight nock high left tear for a right hander is the best. the reason is it allows the arrow to get up off the rest the exact same way each time. and i mean slight nock high left. not a 1 inch tear. like a 1/4 inch nock high left tear.

there are many ways to tune your bow. i find paper tuning to be the simpliest and best way to not only fine tune your rest, but to tune how good the arrows come out of your bow.
