RTF
Wow. From the thread title, I thought I was about to read a new waterfowl law or something to that effect. Never heard of that new shell. Keep us posted.
Guest realtrhunter
Never shot them. Just got the new Duck Commander Video and they are using them and apparently like them. Dunno from a unbiased/sponsored point of view.

dogdoc
22 bucks a box seems kind of expensive to me. I'll stick with my Kent Fast Steel. i believe i saw a commercial on the black cloud--seems like that have round shot but also a different shaped shot for better penetration???? double_drop
22 bucks isn't to bad for 3 1/2's. I know my kent is 17 bucks a box what the heck is another five it will do the trick even better. I know gander mountain sells the 3 inch for 20 a box and the 3 1/2 for 25 a box. Thought about going with heavy steel this year but it went up in price might buy a couple boxes of black cloud although I have to shoot up my case of kent first. coles
the new black cloud shells have 60 percent regular steel shot and 40 percent shot that is in the shape of the planet saturn. the shaped ones are supposed to make a more devastating wound channel. i still dont know if they are goin to replace regular old steel for me though. Opening morning will provide that answer for me.
