I redid the web site at the hunting store I work at it was my first attempt at building one and I would like some thoughts ... Also I need some traffic to the site to check out my analytics. If you dont mind please visit the site and let me know what you guys would add change or correct. One thing I noticed, the online store where it has the picture of the boots at the bottom of the screen, the text over the pics is offset, not centered. RangerClay Posted August 23, 2007 Report Share Posted August 23, 2007 Two changes I would make. First, make the e-mail address at the top a different color, it's very hard to spot it. Second, if you want dial-up users to visit the site, make the commercial a link. I waited for three minutes for the entire page to load, got tired of waiting for the commercial and just gave up. I am a Mac user and the Windows only programs will keep from going to a site. Everyone can download quicktime making your site more versatile. I will see how to incorporate that into the homepage somehow ... I just didn't want to clutter the Home page ... the last page was hidious with all the links right on the home page and we didnt utilize the rest of the pages ... Ill see what I can do though ... As far as quicktime I used it exactly for that reason ... I want everyone to be able to view it and quicktime is an easy and FREE download ... I am also thinking of making it a link instead of an active window to make it easier and faster for my home page to download ... and then it really doesnt matter what you have or don't have as your player ... I just have to figure out how to make it a link:D Im still playing with stuff lol ... Still need some hunting pictures to put up there if anyone has any.
