SaskMan
Try a diff't bullet, what kind are you shooting and how many grains is it, some push down easier than others.
8ptbuckpa
I would agree with SaskMan and try a different bullet but maybe you should of posted this in either the deerhunting room or the muzzleloader room where they can help you out a bit more:)
Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
i use hornady SST's they are a bit tough to get down, but i like em a little tight....you can try pwoerbelts...those are pretty easy to load, i tried em and didn't like how they shot out of my gun, but they may shoot good out of yours...and BTW, try posting this in the muzzleloader room
Guest bowhunter56
What does your owners manual say to use, what caliber is the gun, what you like doesn't mean that;s what you should use, if the gun is suppose to shoot something like a powerbelt, that is one thing, if your gun is 50 cal. say and your shooting sabots, which are undersized and not actually 50 cal, they will be tight, some guys will try to shoot sabots in a 50 cal, but a sabot will tight and hard to get down, some guys will break ram rods trying to beat the bullet down the barrel, the sabot or gas check is just that a gas seal, and it doesn't have to be tight to get down, you should be able to load a bullet, shoot it, run a wet patch down and out, then reload with ease, nothing should be tight....
