western NY bowhunter
I came across these trail cam pics. on the awesome antlers website yest. I posted them on a couple other sites and thought that I'd post them here too for my fellow whitetail freaks to see. Note...I cropped these...the originals are full-sized and are dated 8/2/07. WHAT A BRUISER!!! Those are what I call BROWTINES...!!! If this is in fact a NY deer as is claimed, he'll no doubt surpass the current state archery record (205"). Here's the only info. the guy (who claims to be from here in western NY) posted.... I put my camera out in this spot to try it out. I figured I would get some does and smaller bucks. Boy was I shocked to see this deer. We also got two nice tens that would score in the 140's and a few nice eights in the 120's. This is a very heavily hunted area, so we were shocked. Needless to say, my wife and I will be spending alot of time hunting this area, saving our best stands for the rut. Any guesses on his score and age? buckee
I'll bet he's over 5 1/2 years old. WOWZERS What an awesome buck
Hoyt03
awesome buck. I have to disagree with the guy though. In a heavily hunted area that buck will prob go nocturnal in no time. Hunt your best stands early and try to get him still in summer feeding mode. Come rut time, no telling where he could wander.

Turkeygirl
If it is a NY buck, I would guess he's hanging in a more urban area. I know up around Buffalo, Rochester areas, I've seen pictures of bucks taken that are huge. And Andy who's a land surveyor, he saw some bucks this year in more urban areas that were massive he said. Adjam5
Awesome buck no doubt. That deer did not get that big overnight. His shed(s) should have been found in such a heavily hunted area. Hmmmm. Either way that is a whopper.
