c_lou
I had a auction yesterday afternoon. Here is what who I got. There are 12 teams, 20 players and a $260 cap. Free Agents are a bid system. What we had left over from the auction we get to use on Free Agents and/or carry over to next years draft. Pretty standard yardage scoring, we start 1 QB, 2RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 Def, & 1 Kicker. It's a new 3 player keeper league where whoever we keep gets $5 added to their salary next year. Marc Bulger Brady Quinn Byron Leftwich Joe Addai Willis McGhee Julius Jones Tony Hunt Deshaun Foster Braylon Edwards Reggie Brown Joey Galloway Wes Welker Anthony Gonzalez Patrick Crayton Alge Crumpler Tony Gonzales Olindo Mare Shayne Graham Cowboys Browns I need my WR's to step up. I think that is my one weakness.
MCH
No telling how many times I started to reply to your thread today, lou, but got busy. Anyway, like you said the WR's are a little weak. I like your TE's and RB's. As for your QB's, I just hope Bulger stays healthy. Relying on the other two as starters could ruin your season. Now that's not a slam against Quinn, I just wouldn't bet the farm that he will be starting and producing so early. If Leftwich struggles a little or gets injured like he's prone to lately, they'll switch to Garrard in a heartbeat.
c_lou
It's a 3 player keeper league and I couldn't pass on Quinn for a $1. If I decide to keep him his salary goes to $6. I can always trade a RB for a WR but it gets complicated because we have a salary cap of $260. So if I trade anybody but McGhee or Addai, I will have to absorb some salary. I got Jones for $7 and Foster for $0.
buckbuster11
Not bad, I don't like your WR's at all and that is not good considering you have to start 3 of them. I don't like your defenses either actually. Dallas is up and down and plays in a tough division and Cleveland is well......Cleveland. Your RB's are pretty good...not much depth though. Leftwich and Bulger are solid QB's...you are good there. Very solid at TE also.

I took a flyer on Hunt because I don't think Westbrook can stay healthy and Buckhalter is running on...well he is just Buckhalter. I took the Browns Def because I think they play Tenn. on the Cowboys bye week.
buckbuster11
Philly just played the Steelers this weekend, Hunt was very impressive. But, he's not going to get much action with Westbrook there. Maybe you'll get lucky and he'll take over goal line carries...plus Westbrook gets hurt all the time. I don't like Jones after the monster season Marion Barber had last year....plus Barber gets all the goal line carries....and DeAngelo Williams is going to cut into Foster's carries and he is injury prone too....not to mention Carolina's oline is a mess. But, I digress.

MCH
I hope you are right. I am screwed if Bulger goes down. You're fine, lou. The omnipotent one has predicted a big year for Leftwich. Heck, I'm on E-bay scooping up all his rookie cards as we speak.
