Guest Andrea
Another house update. Finally getting some color on it. They decided to do it the old-fashioned way....with a brush. ( Husband's grandfather was a painter and some of the houses he painted over 40 years ago with a brush are still in great shape. ) So it might take a while....... I think the greeen is turning out great. Will have white trim.

AdvantageTimberLou
Here is a question, why not just order green vinyl siding? Painting is nice (I love you Buckee buddy) but creates future work. Put on vinyl siding and forget about it! LOL!! The house is looking nice though! wtnhunt
That color may not be too bad after all. Look forward to seeing the finished pics.
Guest Andrea
Vinyl siding blows off in hurricanes. We used concrete-planks ( hardi-board) and it is also more economical and energy efficient than vinyl. Our current house has vinyl.

toddyboman
I like the green!! :) I was thinking the same about vinyl siding but the blowing off in the hurricane makes great sense. I guess its one of the regional things. :)

buckee
Yeah, where's the drop cloths...EH ? A little darker than I would have went for but it looks great. That Hardi Plank is good stuff, and takes the paint well too. .
