Tony Posted August 28, 2007 Report Share Posted August 28, 2007 i cut the legs off and cut the back in 2 pieces. i then either slow cook it in creme of mushrom soup. you MUST ADD MILK, not water.. served over mashed potatoes. or slow cook them in the crock pot if you get enough with taters and carrots and a little onion. best way i had them is "teriaki" sp? marinade and on the grill. dlriggins Posted August 31, 2007 Report Share Posted August 31, 2007 I cook them in a variety of ways but the way I like best is when camping take an iron skillet and fill it with veg. oil about an inch let the oil get hot and sprinkle some seasoned salt into the oil and add the squirrel back piece first as to cook all of the pieces evenly also have taken whole squirrel wrapped in foil with some onion and butter and salt and let cook over coals if at home I cook as I would chicken Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
