Born4it
Been thinkin about putting these in my arrows this season or at least next, so I can use up my Montecs. Anyone use them, how do they fly compared to field points? Like them or dislike them? Thanks, Ryan
Straight Shooter
Tried them out last year and they did great! I'm a Muzzy fan and will not switch but I did take a deer last year with them (Tekan II) and watch it fall within sight. I shoot 75 grain Muzzy's, I screwed these(Tekan II) heads on and they flew great and had no adjustments to make on my pins even out to 40 yards. I couldn't tell you about field tips because I don't shoot them on my hunting bows, but I suppose they'd fly just the same if your bow is in tune. If I ever switch to a mechanical head these will definitely be the ones I go to.
Guest wasp
G5 tekan 2 I am not sure but i heard the tekan 2 is illegal in illinois because it is considered a barbed broadhead. Any body know anything about this. Thanks WASP
WVreddot870
Awesome broadhead! Just arrowed 2 hogs last week and a gobbler in the spring----flies the same as my field points

At one time I believe they were but in a conversation I had with a G5 rep I recall me asking that question and although it's been awhile, I believe she told me that they are now legal in IL but remain illegal in NY. VTbowman
I switched to these 2 years ago. AWESOME preformance, hit exactly with my field points and I even tested them on a single sheet on paper to see if they would open. Everytime. I saw 1 blow threw 2 shoulders on my brothers buck last years and kept going. No damage to the head or blades but arrow broke. LOL Buck went 30 yards and piled. I feel they are very well made and tought all stainless steel construction. If you like mech heads you owe it to yourself to give these a try. Not to mention they look bad*** with that huge cut on contact tip. JMO
