KirkV Posted January 2, 2005 Report Share Posted January 2, 2005 Here are 2 pics of the Thompson Center PTX .50 cal 250 grain Sabots from 2 different deer that I have shot. The first on intact passed into a quartered away buck in the last rib and was lodged under the skin on the opposite shoulder. The second was shot into this years monster 17 pointer directly in the spine in the neck at 45 yards. As you can see the copper mostly hung together but the lead came unglued. They both di their jobs wonderfully. I have seen a couple of these posts on different sabots and thought I would share these. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
